Laser Products Amazon policy requires that certain laser products sold through the Amazon website meet certain certification standards. In order to sell these items on Amazon, you must apply by sending the following information to the email address listed in the table below:

2. Seller ID
3. Email address
4. Telephone number
5. ASIN list of laser products you apply for sale
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) file accession number for each ASIN you apply to sell
Documentation from a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) certifying that your product has been tested to the standards listed in the table below

Laser product definition
Laser products include laser designs. The FDA does not authorize hazard class IIIB and IV laser products for undifferentiated sale in the United States, so Amazon does not currently support the sale of these products. Amazon has safety policies in place for the following products:

Laser pointers are generally not allowed for sale on Amazon. A pen-like pointing device (usually battery powered) containing a small diode laser device that emits an intense beam of light. Handheld laser pet toys and 303s are variations of laser pointers. Visible beam lasers are divided into four classes: Class 2, Class 3R, Class 3B and Class 4.

Remote control devices are primarily used to control visual aids (such as slides in group presentations). The low-power laser pointer is an assistive feature introduced to guide attention during presentations.
Non-Handheld Laser Pet Toy
Laser pet toys are a popular application for laser pointers. Handheld laser pet toys are stand-alone devices and can have some pet-themed shape. They won't be pen-shaped. The laser beam provides stimulation to the pet.
Children's laser toys
Laser applications in children's toys vary widely. Common applications of lasers in children's toys are toy guns with laser rangefinders, spinning tops with spinning lights, laser swords, and toys that use lasers to create optical effects indoors. The FDA recommends that children's toys with lasers have safety limits for Hazard Class I (1 mW output power). Amazon does not allow the sale of children's laser toys that exceed Hazard Class I.

Laser displays (or laser projectors) use laser lights to entertain viewers. These laser beams are often used in entertainment performances. The lasers used in these shows are regulated by the FDA, and they are typically high-energy beams. The laser used in these products shines directly into the eyes and skin, which may cause damage to the eyes and skin.
Horticulture laser projector
These units are weatherproof and have specially designed protective covers. Horticultural laser projectors and outdoor laser lighting, often used for seasonal lighting effects, feature diffraction gratings that break the laser beam into many light spots on the projection surface that can move and change color.
Infrared illumination laser devices for surveillance and security equipment
Infrared (IR) laser devices are capable of emitting intense light over long distances. They are commonly used for night vision cameras, long-range illumination of security systems and to create projected beams with a wavelength of 810 nanometers.
