The advantages are: because it is a reflective laser, it can withstand stronger laser light than absorbing protective glasses, with high visible light transmittance, high laser attenuation rate, and light reaction time less than 10-9s;
The disadvantage is that the effect of multi-layer coating on laser reflection varies with the laser incident angle. If the requirements for laser protection are very high, the required coating will be thicker, which has a great influence on the light transmittance of the glass. In addition, the thicker the electroplated dielectric layer, the easier it is to fall off, and it is difficult to observe with the naked eye after falling off, which is very dangerous.
